[He didn't expect to get the gift from Eris this soon, but he's certainly not going to complain. Chloe opens it, grabs the shimmering globe from inside, sets it in his pocket, and grabs his crutches. Time to tell Ken and Aya that he got what he needed for them to make special deliveries. There's no need to mention the more serious reason he got it.

Chloe doesn't pass a mirror on his way to find them, so he has no idea that his hair's changed to be the intense red he works hard to hide.]

[Ken does pretty much the same thing before he stretches and gives Chloe another quick look.]

... look, I'm just going to be playing delivery boy with all this, so I'm going to go and see if I can stand to do a decent workout or something. Aya can fill me in later.

I'd rather you stayed, but I can't force you to.

The place is a sanctuary for anyone on the community, and he won't tolerate people staying there being put in damger.

[Aya's eyes narrow as he watches Ken. He won't stop him but he's clearly unhappy with his attitude currently.]

That's a positive. We'll have to keep it in mind for the future.

[And Ken clearly doesn't care that Aya's not happy with his attitude. Aiming a tight smile at Chloe, he shrugs.]

I trust you two to work out the details. As for me, I'm going to go work on getting back into shape.

[Chloe sighs as Ken walks out. At least Aya's accepting of his plan.]

I would've thought he'd enjoy the chance to visit new places without having to be afraid of enemies emerging.

I'll deal with his attitude later.

[His tone suggests that that is a promise.]

When should we get the arrangements made so we can deliver them?

Within the next couple of days. I didn't expect the world hop device to arrive this soon.

That will give us time to do some research on Irish flowers.

I took care of most of that already, since I'd planned on making the delivery myself. I might not be able to do as much until my leg heals, but I'm doing what I can.

That helps actually. It will mean less work for all of us.

I try to do my share and modern Japan, even if it's different from ours, felt like a safe place to navigate on crutches.

So long as you avoid the crowds in the cities.

We'll need to work on your accent a bit though.

If Ken had to work on his English, it's only fair that I work on my Japanese.

Especially since I'm not certain that people outside the community will be able to understand you.

It's not bad but you are sure to get looks while they figure out what you're saying.

If you want to avoid dealing with Ken then I'd suggest letting me work with you when you have a chance.

That sounds like a good idea for the time being.

[He's not in the mood currently and is trying to figure out how to deal with the brunette who left the room.]

Of course not. It looks like you have more important things to deal with at the moment.
