I have a theory about the cause for the more interesting effects seen on the network lately, since things from Tuesday can be easily linked to the cupcakes many people were gifted with. But rather than go public with incomplete information, I'd like to ask this from a small group first. Have you eaten a golden apple recently? If so, did you experience anything unusual shortly after eating it? If not, I'd like you to refrain from doing so unless you're completely comfortable with the risk you're taking.

I would simply ask the one who gave the apples, but I haven't been able to reach Eris lately and I believe she may have lost her connection with the community altogether. Some people are likely to miss her far more than others.

[OOC: His side effect of eating it is that he's both more talkative and more truthful. I only ask that anything he reveals about his other job/the real reason for his injuries remains a secret between Chloe and your character if those topics come up.]

I probably would anyway since we don't have any fruit in the apartment since my father is at the lab and forgets to shop.

And I haven't purchased any fruit lately because it's easier to eat other things while I study.

It's not exactly healthy to avoid other things while you study, though.

I know that. I'll eat them later after this test at school.

I suspect it's because we remember being teenagers and how willing we were to ignore proper nutrition because there were other more important things going on.

I'm not ignoring it though. I just prefer to eat something that I can just eat while I work.

You usually have to prepare fruit so you can get it out of your hand quickly.

Only if you feel the need to peel or slice it beforehand. Otherwise, all you need is to keep a trash can nearby to throw out inedible parts.

Yes. But the amount of time holding it is different.

I thought about it for all of a few seconds.

Besides, the market for the better fruit isn't as close to my school. I'm home alone most of the time so I just grab a few things in the little shop near our apartment.
