My English isn't as good as a friend of mine...but I promise you I do understand. I understand the value of working hard and I understand that if I really want something in this world then I have to rely on myself in order to make things happen. Then I'll talk to the others I work with about letting you get a feel for it if we ever have too much going on to handle on our own. Easter might be a big time, since I'll be busy with church services and my work will suffer as a result.

Well, it's probably because I've been on my own for so long, I don't really have anyone to help me with my goals and I had to learn to set them myself. Without my dreams it would have just been very lonely...so if it's hard work then that's fine...I never thought of the things I wanted to get in life as being easy...but anything that's worth doing isn't always easy. I don't have a problem with setting the bar high.

[He raises an eyebrow when she mentions being on her own, but he's polite enough not to ask. Everyone has their past hurts and it's up to them to talk about it when they want to.]

Friends make goals easier, or at least make the journey to them more bearable. Some things worthwhile are easier if you're not alone for them.

Yeah, they certainly do...I have some pretty special friends that I've made recently and they do make things easier...sometimes. So...do you know how much I owe you for the flowers?
